Halloween is just around the corner and I am sure you guys have your costume and make-up all planned out already...right? If not, then you might be even more interested to check out these new fun Halloween nails. They are an easy way to accessorize for the season!

Check out these cool displays!

The best thing about these, it takes only minutes to put them on! The sticky tabs on the imPress nails make it so easy to do and mess free! If you need more info, check out my review here.

Ok, so being the big baby that I am lol I couldn't wait to see what they would look like on! Presenting the Broadway imPress Nails Limited Edition in Orange with the Kiss Nail Dress in style #57860 (accent nail).

As you can see in the pic, the Kiss Nail Dress gave me a little grief...these aren't decals, they are stickers...see the evil bubbles on the sides of the nail?  Now, my question is, would they have given me this much trouble on bare nails? I will definitely have to test it out and report back.

I really love the fun spooky designs offered in the 2012 Halloween collections. Note: these are much longer than the regular imPress nails. Scary spooky nails need to be long after all! But you can always cut and file them down to the desired length.

What do you think?

If you’re looking for a quick and easy way to jazz up your Halloween look, definitely take a look at these nails from Kiss and Broadway Nails next time you stop at the drugstore or Walmart. Available now in 6 new designs for each, these limited edition designs retails between 8.99$ CAD and 10.99$ CAD.

Are you doing anything fun for Halloween this year?

China Glaze Real Nail Polish Appliqués/Auto-collants pour Ongles - Seeing Stripes

Today I have something fun from Nail Polish Canada to show you. China Glaze Nail Apps. This is the design I had the chance to try, called Seeing Stripes in Blue.

Made from real nail lacquer China Glaze nail apps combine the ease of a decal with the beauty and art of a salon manicure. Each pack contains 16 pieces and is good for one application with a few leftover pieces to account of varying nail sizes.

SRP $11.00

The package contains the nail polish strips, one nail files, one rosewood stick and an instruction booklet.
Even though the information provided were complete and clear, I still had some difficulties applying these (or maybe I just wasn't caffeinated enough!?). Just press on, and file off the excess. Then apply a top coat.

Here's the result/Voilà le résultat:

Small problem I encountered, and you can see it on the pic above, is that the strips pulled back a little after a few minutes (see pinky finger where it's more apparent). My advice: don't pull too much on the strips when applying them. Simply press onto the nail and smooth out toward the edges.

Final thoughts:
These were really fun! I love the design as it's not something I could have done with nail polish only. At $11.00 for one use, I do find them to be on the pricey side a little. Also, why include 16 strips? Granted, different nail sizes are included, but I would rather have the option to purchase a kit for small nail beds (or medium or wide nail beds, you get the point) that would include 20 nail strips and pay a few more dollars (15$ for 20 strips so you get to have two tries out of one package)? Something to think about China Glaze!

Thanks Nail Polish Canada for sending these over! I really like how they turned out. ;)
